Review: the hurricane didnt ruin it but the engineers did. By digging in the river with heavy machinery all spawning time then effectively destroyed this river from woodford to the NY line.
few stocked fish this year but river will never recover as long as they have loose dirt and mud filled in the river bottoms. silt will destroy the eggs and beds and kill the fish soon after being stocked. everywhere mother nature was left to do her work the river is fishable and there are some good fish but it will be many years before this is back to where it was
