Cold water Largemouth

I have been having success during the cold water 48 degree water with largemouths with deep diving crank baits that are suspended in teh water column. Bottom baits have not been producing an the slow moving plastic baits have been slow on the bite. any thoughts or comments? Smallies have been very active with jigs and tubes on the bottom.
