Texas Trip

Hired a guide to fish on Lake Falcon, unfortunately a cold front came through, we caught a number of fish but had to grind them out. We started the morning with buzz baits and the went to soft plastic and spinner baits. Fish were holding tight to cover in the 3 to 8 foot range, biggest fish came out of 22 feet. I am planning a trip back in the spring.

Burr Pond

Burr is a very clear pond with some depth, the deep weed lines and two humps provide for some great bass and pike fishing. Don't be surpised at the size of the fish. Keep this a great fishery by exercising catch and release. Unfortunately I saw a couple take a full stringer of 4 and 5 pound bass outof the lake- 10 big fish. That hurts!

Hortonia

Lake Hortonia, now that the lake has started to get more weed growth has excelled once again with nice largemouth bass and pike. The lakes can serve either shallow water fishing or deep water. fish can be caught from a foot of water to 25 feet. This lake is a great lake to teach you a variety of ways to catch fish with very little boat traffic. Most importantly, please catch and release.

Beautiful small lake in southern Vermont. Good small mouth location. No motor boats of any kind are allowed not even a trolling motor.

West River ,Townshend VT.

Great for small mouth and trout. There are miles and miles of river to fish. Anywhere you see whirlpools or cover is good fishing. I fish my way home from work every week and 90% of time I catch fish mostly small mouth bass. There are plenty of brook trout and Rainbow trout to be caught as well.
